Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Tekla Structures Modeler / Steel Detailer to translate engineering designs into accurate 3D models and high-quality fabrication/shop drawings. You'll be central to transforming concepts into constructible steel/PEB structures-optimizing for precision, constructability, and efficiency. This isn't just a drafting role-it's about being the technical bridge between engineering design, fabrication, and execution.

What You'll Do

3D Modeling & Detailing

• Develop and manage detailed 3D structural steel models in Tekla Structures.
• Generate fabrication drawings, GA drawings, and erection drawings with accuracy.
• Apply correct connection detailing as per design inputs and global codes.

Data & Documentation

• Prepare BOQs, material lists, bolt lists, and CNC/NC data for fabrication.
• Ensure clash detection, model coordination, and drawing validation.
• Maintain strict drawing/document control aligned with project QA/QC requirements.

Coordination & Problem-Solving

• Collaborate with design engineers, architects, fabricators, and site teams.
• Resolve ambiguities through RFIs, revisions, and design modifications.
• Ensure constructability, compliance, and timely delivery of drawings.

What We're Looking For

Education & Background

• Diploma/Degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Tekla Structures for steel projects (PEB, modular, or heavy structures preferred).
• Strong knowledge of steel fabrication & erection processes.
• Familiarity with international detailing codes (IS, AISC, Eurocodes).
• Knowledge of AutoCAD / Revit / STAAD is an added plus.
