Role Type: Digital Engineering Full Stack Operations Lead
Position Title: TechOps – Manager – Digital Engineering (.NET Full Stack Operations Manager)
The Opportunity
As a Manager – .NET Full Stack Operations Service Delivery Lead within EY GDS TechOps, you will lead the delivery of application support engagements, drive transformation initiatives, and optimize .NET-based digital engineering operations across client environments.
You will be responsible for managing .NET application support, performance optimization, and platform modernization, while driving automation and operational excellence in line with EY quality and delivery standards.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of .NET-based application managed services (AMS) engagements across multiple clients.
- Own support, maintenance, and continuous improvement of .NET full stack applications (ASP.NET Core, Web API, Microservices, Angular/React UI).
- Guide and support teams in resolving complex production issues, performing root cause analysis, and ensuring application stability and performance.
- Drive application performance tuning, including .NET runtime optimization, memory management, threading, API performance, and database optimization as needed.
- Support the maintenance of DevOps and CI/CD pipelines (.NET ecosystem tools, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Git, Kubernetes, Docker) for .NET applications.
- Drive automation, AIOps, and self‑healing capabilities to reduce incidents and operational toil.
- Manage ITSM processes (incident, problem, change, release management) with strong governance.
- Track and improve SLAs/KPIs, including availability, MTTR, and defect leakage.
- Collaborate with architecture, cloud, DevOps, and business teams to align solutions with client objectives.
- Mentor engineers on .NET best practices, design patterns, and scalable architecture.
- Support presales, solutioning, and client discussions for .NET-based transformation programs.
- Ensure compliance with EY risk, security, and data governance standards.
- Flexible to work in shifts or extended hours as required.
Skills and attributes for success
- Strong working knowledge of the .NET full stack ecosystem, with the ability to guide teams across:
- C#, ASP.NET Core, .NET 6+ / .NET Framework
- Web APIs, Microservices architecture
- Frontend frameworks (Angular / React)
- Good understanding of application architecture, including:
- Distributed systems and event‑driven architecture
- API management, caching, and messaging (Service Bus, Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Experience in overseeing production support and performance engineering for .NET applications, with the ability to guide teams on:
- Debugging, profiling, and memory leak analysis
- Performance monitoring and observability tools (App Insights, Dynatrace, etc.)
- Familiarity with DevOps and cloud‑native engineering practices, with the ability to support and guide teams on:
- CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub/GitLab)
- Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS accepted)
- Strong grounding in ITIL/ITSM processes and service delivery governance.
- Ability to drive automation and AI‑led operations (AIOps) for ticket reduction.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Proven leadership in managing distributed teams and multi‑client delivery.
To qualify for the role
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 12+ years of experience in digital engineering / AMS / IT operations, with at least 5+ years in leadership roles.
- Strong hands‑on experience in .NET full stack technologies and enterprise application support.
- Experience delivering large‑scale .NET‑based managed services programs.
