Job summary

Synechron seeks an experienced Technology Project Manager to lead Data Centre migration, ServiceNow CMDB and Observability initiatives in Chennai. You will drive end-to-end infrastructure transformation and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

The role requires 8+ years in technology infrastructure project management, hands-on ServiceNow modules, ITIL processes, and strong stakeholder communication to deliver on time and within scope.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Project Management experience in Technology Infrastructure environments.
• Data Centre Migration, Colocation, Infrastructure Deployment and Operational Readiness.
• ServiceNow ITSM, CMDB, ITOM, Discovery, Service Mapping and Asset Management.
• ITIL processes, Change Management, Incident Management, Risk Management and Governance.
• Observability tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, Datadog, AppDynamics, SolarWinds, New Relic, ThousandEyes, Azure Monitor or AWS CloudWatch.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of Data Centre and Infrastructure transformation projects.
• Manage project plans, RAID logs, governance reporting, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications.
• Drive Data Centre migration, colocation setup, lift-and-shift activities, and operational readiness.
• Oversee ServiceNow CMDB, ITSM, ITOM, Discovery, Service Mapping, and Asset Management governance.
• Improve CMDB accuracy, service mapping, asset lifecycle management, and data quality.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, network, storage, security, cloud, and operations teams.
• Drive observability initiatives using monitoring, logging, alerting, and service health dashboards.
• Manage vendors, system integrators, and technology partners throughout project delivery.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Technology Project Manager to lead enterprise infrastructure and transformation initiatives involving Data Centre Migration, ServiceNow CMDB, ITSM, Asset Management, and Observability Platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of Data Centre and Infrastructure transformation projects.
• Manage project plans, RAID logs, governance reporting, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications.
• Drive Data Centre migration, colocation setup, lift-and-shift activities, and operational readiness.

• Good understanding of ITIL processes, Change Management, Incident Management, Risk Management, and Governance.
• Experience working with Observability tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, Datadog, AppDynamics, SolarWinds, New Relic, ThousandEyes, Azure Monitor, or AWS CloudWatch.
• Strong stakeholder, vendor, and executive communication skills.
