Job summary

Broadridge Financial Solutions in Hyderabad is seeking a Technology Architect to design and guide scalable, data-intensive systems. You will craft architecture that supports high performance, fault tolerance, and secure coding practices, while mentoring engineers and leading architectural reviews.

You will prototype in JavaScript/TypeScript, define standards, and collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into resilient solutions.

Qualifications

• Mature, hands-on programming skills in JavaScript (Node.js) and TypeScript.
• Strong grasp of software design patterns, distributed systems, and microservices architecture.
• Proven experience architecting scalable, resilient, high-performance systems.
• Deep understanding of secure programming practices and common vulnerability classes.
• Experience with data-intensive systems: databases (SQL/NoSQL), caching, message queues, streaming (Kafka).
• Strong code review skills with a track record of mentoring engineering teams.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Solid understanding of API design (REST/GraphQL), event-driven architecture, and integration patterns.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, resilient architectures for complex, data-intensive systems.
• Define architectural patterns, standards, and best practices across the technology stack.
• Evaluate trade-offs between performance, scalability, cost, and maintainability.
• Produce architecture diagrams, technical design documents, and decision records.
• Write production-quality code (TypeScript/JavaScript) to prototype, validate, and guide implementation.
• Contribute to critical or complex modules alongside development teams.
• Lead code reviews and mentor engineers on clean code, design patterns, and architectural thinking.
• Embed secure coding practices (OWASP Top 10, input validation, authentication/authorization) into the SDLC.
