Luxoft is seeking a Techno-Functional Data Analyst with Banking/Financial Services expertise for a Commercial / Corporate Banking delivery programme in Bengaluru. The role combines business insight with hands-on data analysis, SQL, and understanding of APIs, JSON, and data feeds.

You will translate requirements into data mappings and ensure data accuracy across systems. You will collaborate in an Agile team, document decisions in JIRA/Confluence, and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of overall industry experience.
• 5+ years in Banking/Financial Services, preferably Commercial or Corporate Banking.
• Strong SQL and data analysis skills across multiple tables and sources.
• Understanding of databases, data structures and data models.
• Experience in data mapping, source-to-target analysis, data profiling and data-quality analysis.
• Ability to translate business requirements into data requirements and mappings.
• Experience with Agile, JIRA, and Confluence.

Sitting at the intersection of business and data, you will investigate and analyse data across multiple systems, tables and sources, translate business requirements and rules into clear data requirements and mappings, and ensure that data flowing through the banking landscape is accurate, well-understood and fit for purpose.This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role suited to an analyst who combines strong SQL and data-analysis skills with a solid grasp of technical concepts — APIs, interfaces, database tables, JSON and batch/data feeds — and the communication skills to explain technical and data findings clearly to business stakeholders.
