Qualifications

• 8-10 years of experience in AS400 architecture and related technologies.
• Experience in requirement gathering and feasibility analysis.
• Strong ability to design and implement module-level customisations.

Responsibilities

• Requirement Gathering: Conduct discussions and workshops with stakeholders to capture functional needs and translate them into technical requirements.
• Feasibility Analysis: Review documents, identify constraints, and prepare impact summaries for proposed changes.
• Solution Design: Identify customization needs across modules and link functional to technical requirements.
• Configuration and Customisation: Execute customisations and configuration changes across multiple modules to support business processes.
• Technology Harmonisation: Participate in integration design and assess data flow between applications.
• Troubleshooting and optimisation: Analyze performance issues and optimise configurations, queries, or integrations.
• Documentation: Create detailed functional and technical documentation including design and process documents.

Areas of Responsibility

• Requirement Gathering: Conduct requirement-gathering discussions and workshops with internal and client stakeholders to understand functional requirements and convert them into technical requirements in line with project goals.
• Feasibility Analysis: Assist in feasibility analysis by reviewing functional documents, noting preliminary constraints, and preparing impact summaries for potential changes.
• Solution Design: Contribute to solution design by identifying customisation requirements across multiple modules, basis understanding of functional requirements and its linkage to technical requirements.
• Configuration and Customisation: Execute required customizations, apply configuration changes across multiple modules within the existing system and support implementation of business processes.
• Technology Harmonisation: Participate in integration design for multiple modules and assess the data flow between multiple applications.
• Troubleshooting and optimisation: Analyse performance issues and optimise configurations, queries, or integrations across multiple applications.
• Documentation: Create detailed functional and technical documentation including design documents and process documents.
