Job summary

Flex is seeking a Techno-Functional Business Analyst in Chennai, India to bridge business needs and SAP technical solutions. The role focuses on gathering requirements, documenting processes, and translating them into technical specs for developers.

You will work with stakeholders, analyze data, create use cases and user stories, and contribute to SAAS product integrations such as Ivalua or Ariba. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential; SAP ABAP, ABAP Objects, and Web

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• SQL knowledge is desirable.
• Experience with SAAS products such as Ivalua, e2open, SNC, Ariba is a plus.
• Proficiency in documenting requirements using use cases, user stories, process flows, and wireframes.
• Familiarity with business analysis methodologies, frameworks, and tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder collaboration.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools is a plus.
• BA certifications (CBAP/CCBA) desirable but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of domain trends relevant to the organization is beneficial.

The Business Analyst will be responsible for gathering, documenting, and analyzing business requirements, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement effective solutions.

What a typical day looks like:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document business needs, objectives, and requirements.
• Conduct thorough analysis of existing business processes, systems, and workflows to identify areas for improvement.
• Create detailed documentation, including business requirements, process flows, use cases, and user stories.
• Work closely with technical teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and ensure proper implementation.
• Facilitate workshops, meetings, and interviews to elicit information from stakeholders and subject matter experts.
• Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business decisions.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role in a relevant industry.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• SQL knowledge is desirable and considered as an added advantage.
• Experiencing working with SAAS products is plus like Ivalua/e2open/SNC/Ariba etc..
• Proficiency in documenting requirements using tools such as use cases, user stories, process flows, and wireframes.
