Responsibilities

• Operate DAF, ETP, RO, MEE (auto-plant) and STP.
• Monitor key process parameters and deviations.
• Interact with plant staff to address deviations and optimize operations.
• Monitor wastewater from generation source and perform efficiency analyses.
• Maintain chemical inventory and CIP of circuits.
• Monitor hazardous waste storage and disposal; ensure audit readiness.
• Coordinate with SPCB visits and maintain logs, shift reports, and documentation.
• Deliver toolbox talks and conduct on-the-floor training.
• Troubleshoot ZLD operations and drive continuous improvements.

Role Purpose Statement

To oversee and optimises ZLD plant operations to achieve zero liquid discharge, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and maximizing water recovery.

Main Accountabilities

• Operation of DAF, ETP, RO, MEE (auto-plant) and STP.
• Observation on key parameters of the operation.
• Interaction with the plant people for the deviation.
• Monitoring of wastewater from the source of their generation.
• Perform analysis to check the efficiency of each stage of operation.
• Maintain dosing chemical inventory.
• CIP of circuits.
• Monitoring of hazardous waste generation and storage and disposal within the time frame.
• Able to handle SPCB visit.
• Maintain the logbook, shift report and document for the audit purpose.
• Give toolbox talk, sludge handling, effluent load handling and training on shop floor.
• Trouble shooting of the ZLD operations.

Dimensions

• Daily treatment of 450-500 KLD effluent.
• Maintain and improve the quality of recovered water from WWRP.
• Improve in consistency of reduction in COD from biological treatment and TDS from WWRP & MEE.
• Impose effluent load bearing/5S/Safety culture in ETP plant.

• Reporting of Safety, near miss /hazard.
