Job summary

Bunge seeks a Technician Utility to operate and maintain refrigeration plants at our facility. You will manage ammonia and Freon systems, ensure safe operation, and support maintenance across multiple chillers and plants.

Ideal candidates hold ITI in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or Mechanical Engg with 1–3 years of experience. Knowledge of PLC-based controls is a plus; role based in India, with growth opportunities within a global agribusiness.

Qualifications

• ITI in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or Mechanical Engg.
• 1–3 years experience in operation and maintenance of reciprocating compressor type manual and microprocessor-based refrigeration plants.
• Knowledge of PLC/Microprocessor based controls is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain ammonia refrigeration systems with KCX4, KCX3, KC3 compressors, condensers, receivers and AHUs.
• Operate and maintain chilling plants with KC42, RXF screw compressors, condensers and receivers.
• Operate and maintain Freon refrigeration chilling plants with SMC106L, 5H80, 5H40 compressors.
• Operate and maintain Freon-based compact chillers from 10 TR to 80 TR capacity.

Role Purpose Statement: Refrigeration Technician required to operate Non-Dairy Cream Plant and maintain Refrigeration equipment in General and other shifts.

Main Accountabilities:

• Operation & Maintenance of Manual and PLC controlled Ammonia Refrigeration system having KCX4, KCX3, KC3 reciprocating compressors along with Condenser, Receiver and Air Handling units.
• Operation & Maintenance of Manual and PLC controlled Ammonia based Chilling Plant having KC42, reciprocating compressors & RXF Screw Compressor along with Condenser, Receiver and Votators.
• Operation & Maintenance of Manual and Microprocessor controlled Freon Refrigeration chilling plant having SMC106L, 5H80, 5H40 reciprocating compressors.
• Operation & Maintenance of Manual and Microprocessor controlled Freon Based Compact Chillers 10 TR to 80 TR Capacity.

Education & Experience:

• Minimum1-3 years experience for operation and maintenance of reciprocating compressor type manual and microprocessor-based refrigeration plants.
• ITI in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or Mechanical Engg
