Job summary

Bunge Krishnapatnam is seeking an Officer - Electrical to perform planned and unplanned maintenance on electrical systems at the Andhra Pradesh plant. You will handle troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and ensure safety standards are followed during all tasks.

The role requires a Diploma in Electrical, a Wireman license, and 4–6 years of experience in electrical maintenance or related fields. You will work under the Senior Executive - Electrical & Instrumentation and help keep plant

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical or equivalent
• Wireman license issued by CEIG
• 4-6 years of experience in electrical maintenance or similar roles

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and unplanned maintenance on electrical systems and equipment in the plant
• Attend to breakdowns and ensure zero or minimized downtime
• Perform preventive, predictive maintenance and follow proactive actions
• Ensure safe work practices with permits, LOTO and shift communication
• Maintain daily log sheets and monitor power usage
• Manage power distribution across sources and proper installation cleanliness
• Read manuals and wiring diagrams to troubleshoot effectively
• Uphold 5S, Kaizen and root-cause analysis for frequent breakdowns

Role Purpose Statement

To carry out planned or unplanned maintenance activity and repair activity on various electrical systems and equipment’s of the plant

Main Accountabilities

• Solving Problem. Attain daily breakdown related activities in their respective shift and assure zero breakdowns.
• Preventive. Electrician should follow preventive, predictive maintenance and ensure there is minimum breakdown of equipment, by following proactive actions.
• Should use predictive tools like LLF, Vibration monitors and Thermal camera, to ensure machine should not run till Fail mode.
• Should ensure safely completion work by following proper work permit, LOTO and communication with Shift in charge, and should immediately report unsafe activity to concern department and should actively participate in Safety activity.
• Daily maintain log sheet and should record daily power usage of plant.
• To avail power and manage power distribution from different power sources.
• To ensure all equipment’s installation should be kept cleaned.
• Should be able to read and understand manual and wiring diagram and should be able to troubleshoot through it.
• Should keep instrument and workplace hygiene and clean and should be able to imply work standards like 5S, kaizen and Root cause of frequent breakdown

• Knowledge about 33KV transformer handling, PCC, MCC, LDP, PDB, APFC panels etc. operations, maintenance and troubleshooting.
• LT DG operation, maintenance and trouble shooting.
• Operation, Predictive and preventive maintenance of electrical & Instrumentation equipment’s.
• Knowledge earthing system and standards.
• Knowledge in department Electricity billing process and power balance.
• Knowledge on Lighting system.

Education & Experience

• Diploma in Electrical
• Wireman license issued by any Chief Electrical Inspector of Government (CEIG)
• 4-6 Years of Experience
