Job summary

Bunge Iberica SA is seeking an experienced Officer - Mechanical in Krishnapatnam, India to perform routine and unplanned maintenance on plant utilities and equipment. You will inspect, troubleshoot, and repair pumps, valves, and mechanical systems, ensuring safety and SOP adherence across shifts.

Ideal candidates hold ITI or diploma in Mechanical with 4–6 years of manufacturing experience, and will guide teams while following SHE guidelines to support plant reliability and safety targets.

Qualifications

• Must perform routine, breakdown and preventive maintenance on plant utilities and equipment.
• Inspect packaging machines and related systems for proper operation.
• Handle troubleshooting and provide quick restart solutions during breakdowns.
• Ensure SOPs and safety compliance during maintenance activities.
• Understand and follow SHE guidelines and train others.
• Support SHE management system for critical items and permits.
• Provide proper handover and maintain logs during shift changes.

Responsibilities

• Check routine shift work and complete pending maintenance tasks.
• Carry out maintenance on plant utilities and related machines and equipment.
• Physically inspect equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Attend trouble shooting or leakage issues and restart plant quickly.
• Ensure proper implementation of SOP during maintenance.

• Take over and handover of charge during shift changes.

Role Purpose Statement: To carry out planned or unplanned maintenance activity and repair activity on various Utility and Maintenance systems of the plant

• Checking the routine shift work to be done & complete any work pending related to maintenance.
• Carry out Routine / Break down / Preventive Maintenance of all plant utilities and related Machines & equipment.
• Physically inspections of all pacakaging machines, JBM, Air compressors, N2 Plant Water chillers, Ammonia Chillers pumps, valves, rotary equipment etc.to ensure proper functioning of the plant and utilities.
• Attending any kinds of trouble shooting or leakage problems in the plant, problem solving or providing alternate solution for restarting the plant quickly in case of any breakdown.
• Ensuring proper implementation of SOP during Maintenance.
• Ensuring strict implementation of safety.
• To understand global, SHE requirement and follow the global guidelines.
• To guide/train the people and ensure implementation of SHE system.
• To provide active support to SHE Management system implementation for critical items work permit.
• System, accident /incident reporting, safety training etc. Provide support to organization to meet SHE target.
• Proper take over & handover of charge during starting and ending of the shift. Maintaining Log look

Education & Experience

• ITI (Fitter/MMCP/Turner)/diploma in Mech
• 4-6 Years of Experience from any manufacturing industry
