Job summary

Torrent Pharmaceuticals requires an experienced technician at our Dahej site to operate and maintain specialized tablet manufacturing equipment, while ensuring real-time data integrity through BMR/BPR and strict GDP adherence.

The role demands extensive exposure to quality checks on tablets, safety procedures, and meticulous line clearance to prevent cross-contamination, with preference for candidates from OSD plants and strong mechanical aptitude.

Qualifications

• ITI/HSC/SSC candidates only.
• 25 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry (preferably OSD plant).
• Knowledge of cGMP, GDP and BMR/BPR procedures is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain equipment such as Viswill Camera Inspection, Fette Compression, Sejong Compression, granulation systems, capsule filling machines (AF 90 T), auto coaters, and tablet printing machines.
• Complete and review Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR) and Batch Packing Records (BPR) in real time to ensure data integrity and compliance with cGMP.
• Conduct in-process quality checks on tablets, including weight variation, hardness, thickness, and moisture content, etc.
• Ensure documentation is completed in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
• Perform line clearance and equipment/area cleaning to prevent cross-contamination.
• Apply mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot machinery and understand different tablet tooling.
• Adhere strictly to established safety procedures without deviation.
