Job summary

HCLTech seeks an experienced technical publications specialist to author and revise CMM, CMP, and AMM for aircraft components and systems. You will work with tools like Adobe FrameMaker, Arbortext Epic Editor, and CSDB, ensuring compliance with ATA100 and iSpec 2200 S1000D standards.

The role requires strong ability to read engineering drawings, interpret change drivers, and collaborate with design and maintenance teams in a Bengaluru based environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industry experience with authoring CMM, CMP, AMM.

Responsibilities

• Author and revise CMM, CMP, AMM for aircraft components and systems.
• Interpret engineering drawings and change drivers (SB, ECN, TR, SIL, ATP).

Job description

• Experience in Creation/revision of Component Maintenance Manuals (CMM), Component Maintenance Publications (CMP), Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMM) etc. for Aircraft Components and Systems.


• Strong working knowledge on Adobe Framemaker, Arbortext Epic Editor and Common Source Database (CSDB).


• Working knowledge on PLM tools like Teamcenter and Ennovia.


• Familiar with XML, SGML, and resolving the XML parsing errors.


• Strong knowledge of Technical Publications Aerospace Standards ATA100, iSpec 2200 S1000D.


• Experience in writing Assembly, Disassembly & Repair procedures.


• Working knowledge of illustration tools (Isodraw), 3DVIA and Catia will add advantage.


• Working Knowledge on Simplified English standard ASD-STE.


• Ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings and change drivers (Service Bulletin, Service Newsletter, ECN, TR, SIL, ATP etc.).
