Job summary

GGS Information Services is seeking an Aircraft/Aerospace Technical Writer in Bangalore. You will work full-time from office, focusing on authoring and maintaining documentation such as CMMs, service bulletins and service letters, following ATA iSpec 2200 standards.

The role requires interpreting engineering drawings and BOMs, and mentoring junior writers while ensuring quality checks on artifacts. Prior experience in aerospace technical writing is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in authoring Component Maintenance Manual (CMM), Temporary Revision, Service Bulletin and Service Letter.
• Familiarity with ATA iSpec 2200 standards.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret engineering drawings and BOMs.
• Author technical documents in Structured FrameMaker.
• Train and guide junior technical writers.
• Conduct quality checks on CMMs, service bulletins and service letters.
