Job summary

Flexiple is partnering with a high-growth SaaS company to build its founding India documentation team in Gurugram, on-site. The role focuses on producing user guides, API references, release notes, and in-app help content while turning engineering specs into accessible documentation for non-technical users.

You will collaborate with engineers, product managers, and support, auditing existing docs and establishing a style guide to ensure consistency for future writers.

Qualifications

• 2 to 6 years writing technical or product documentation, ideally for software.
• A portfolio of published docs, guides, or API references you can walk through.
• Comfort reading a spec or sitting through a technical walkthrough and asking the right questions.
• Clear written English and a reliable remote-work setup.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain user guides, API references, release notes, and in-app help content.
• Turn engineering specs and product briefs into documentation a non-technical user can follow.
• Audit existing docs for gaps, outdated screens, and broken steps, and fix them on a rolling basis.
• Sit in sprint planning and release reviews to catch documentation needs before launch, not after.
• Work directly with engineers, product managers, and support to source accurate detail.

A high-growth, venture-backed SaaS company is hiring its founding India documentation team and has partnered with Flexiple to bring on its first dedicated Technical Writer. The product has outgrown its docs — support tickets repeat questions the help centre should already answer, and every release ships faster than the documentation can keep up. Flexiple is a managed marketplace that helps global companies build high-performing teams and GCCs in India.

What You'll Own

Documentation & Content

• Write and maintain user guides, API references, release notes, and in-app help content


• Turn engineering specs and product briefs into documentation a non-technical user can follow


• Audit existing docs for gaps, outdated screens, and broken steps, and fix them on a rolling basis

Process & Partnership

• Sit in sprint planning and release reviews to catch documentation needs before launch, not after
