Job summary

Calderys is seeking a qualified individual for roles in refractory manufacturing in Khordha, Odisha. Responsibilities include following EHS guidelines, maintaining equipment, and ensuring quality control during production.

Skills

Knowledge of production of monolithic and precast shapes

Knowledge of basic operation of crane

Knowledge of handling big bags by forklift or pallet trolley

Job description

Responsibilities

• Follow, respect and establish all EHS guidelines, protocols, etc. in the workplace.
• Ensure operation of equipment/machineries as per SOP/instruction.
• Ensure quality and process control during production as per QC.
• Maintain good health/condition of machines.
• Ensure participation in KAIZENS (improvement jobs).
• Participate in all EHS initiatives.
• Ensure proper housekeeping after job completion.
• Ensure proper coordination with other departments.
• Allocate manpower.
• Manage general store and 5S.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities And Other Characteristics

• Knowledge of production of monolithic and precast shapes.
• Knowledge of basic operation of crane, mixer machine, dust catcher, compressor.
• Knowledge of handling big bags by forklift or pallet trolley.
• Knowledge of basic operational principles of valves, pneumatic systems, etc.
• Basic knowledge of drawings, measurements and typing skill on keyboard.

Requirements

Qualification: ITI in any trade.

Work Experience: Minimum 1‑3 years.

Age limit: 35 years.

Preferred: Work experience in refractory manufacturing with experience in presses.
