Qualifications
2–5 years of work experience in a similar role, preferably in the refractory industry.
Regular course in B.Sc / M.Sc (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) is required.
Experience with MS Office and effective email handling is essential.
Responsibilities
Ensure adherence to EHS protocols and regulatory norms.
Conduct in-process and final quality control of castables and binders.
Act as shift in-charge for a three-shift operation.
Manage testing of CO3 and specific surface areas.
Perform QC and QA of incoming raw materials.
Handle third-party inspections.

Meeting the EHS protocols & regulatory norms in force
In-process & final quality control of castables & binders
Shift in-charge (3‑shift operation)
Testing of CO3, specific surface area
QC & QA of incoming raw materials
Handling third‑party inspections
Meeting ISO norms and reporting daily testing results
Maintaining test records
Maintaining 5S standard in the workplace and ensuring team compliance
Visiting customer sites to attend complaints and discuss practical issues
Involving in feedback of team workers regarding SOFI items, accidents & incidents and rectifying them in consultation with, or acknowledgment of, sectional heads
Coaching team members on safe behaviours
Profile / Competencies
Education: B.Sc / M.Sc (PCM) (Regular Course)
