Job summary

Birlasoft is seeking a QA Lead with 8+ years of experience in Quality Engineering and Test Automation to define and drive QA strategy. Strong expertise in API/UI testing using Selenium, REST/SOAP services, and hands-on automation framework development using Java, Python, or JavaScript.

Ideal candidates will have CI/CD, Agile, Shift-Left, and Continuous Testing experience, plus familiarity with AI-led testing tools and GenAI technologies. Leadership and mentoring are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Quality Engineering and Test Automation.
• Strong expertise in API/UI testing using Selenium, REST/SOAP services.
• Experience building automation frameworks using Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Hands-on knowledge of CI/CD, Agile, Shift-Left, and Continuous Testing practices.
• Experience with AI-led testing, GenAI tools, and GitHub Copilot.
• Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, or PCF preferred.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive QA strategy, standards, and quality metrics.
• Mentor and lead QA teams; manage stakeholders.
