Job summary

Microland is seeking a capable Engineer to perform risk assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and implement security controls within a large enterprise network. You will design, configure, and monitor security systems, respond to threats, and document security events in a cost-efficient manner.

The role requires hands-on experience with VPNs, firewalls, email security, and network management systems, plus strong analytical and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Direct experience in planning, implementing an enterprise perimeter security infrastructure.
• Maintaining the regulatory systems about ISMS policy (Information System Management Systems).
• Deploy, test and maintain security systems such as VPNs, firewalls and email security in line with the IT security policy.
• Ensure that hardware and software are well maintained and able to deal with security requirements.
• Experience with performing root cause analysis, risk identification, and risk mitigation.
• Experience providing Cyber Security continuous monitoring configuration and support.
• Generate performance and failure reports from a range of monitoring activities.
• Experience with configuration and administration of Network Management Systems (NMS) to provide real-time alerting, notification and reporting of network and performance and security compliance.
• Strong analytical-reasoning and problem-solving skills
• An ability to learn new technologies quickly
• Good time management skills
• An ability to follow processes
• Strong documentation skills
• Good communication skills both written and verbal
