Work Mode: Work From Office ( 5 days )
ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Technical Solution Expert is the technical bridge between Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering. You'll own the deep technical work that doesn't fit a standard playbook - running discovery, designing integrations, scoping architecture, and demoing solutions for our most technically complex accounts, from first sales conversation through implementation handoff. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role for someone who's as comfortable reading API docs and sketching a data flow as they are presenting to a room of engineers and executives.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Partner with Sales and CS to review deal context, technical requirements, and commitments made during the sales cycle.
- Lead technical discovery calls with prospects and customers to uncover existing systems, data structures, workflows, and integration needs.
- Deliver tailored product demos, live walkthroughs, and proof-of-concepts (PoCs) that highlight product value for technical and business stakeholders alike.
- Answer complex technical and security questions from customer IT, security, and executive stakeholders during the sales and evaluation process.
- Design integration and configuration plans, including API-level customization, data mapping, and workflow design - for accounts with non-standard requirements.
- Design integration architectures, data flows, and configuration guidelines using RESTful APIs and cloud tools.
- Produce clear scoping documents and architecture diagrams that Implementation and Engineering can execute against.
- Troubleshoot edge cases that fall outside the standard implementation playbook.
Handoff & Cross-Functional Partnership:
- Act as the technical point of contact for complex accounts during the transition from Sales to Implementation.
- Share customer feedback and recurring integration gaps with Product and Engineering to influence the software roadmap.
- Maintain documentation of common integration patterns to reduce repeat scoping work over time.
What We're Looking For:
- Less than 5 years in a technical, customer-facing role, Solutions Engineering, Technical Implementation, Technical Consulting, or similar.
- Comfortable reading API documentation and working with webhooks/integrations.
- Strong ability to translate a customer's business problem into a technical plan and explain that plan to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience scoping or designing integrations between SaaS platforms (CRM, marketing automation, data warehouses, etc.).
- Comfortable owning ambiguity, this role deals with the accounts that don't fit the standard playbook.
- Prior experience in B2B SaaS, ideally in a sales-engineering, implementation, or technical CS function.
Nice to Have:
- Experience building or configuring AI agents or agentic workflows.
- Familiarity with the Model Context Protocol (MCP) or building/using MCP-based tools and connectors.
- Experience designing or training custom “skills” for an AI assistant or LLM-based product feature.
THE PAPERFLITE DIFFERENCE:
- Work and learn from a talented team that is building an industry-first solution.
- No rigid hierarchy, with a friendly environment that fosters creativity and innovation.
- A fully stocked delicious pantry with snacks, drinks and treats for you to enjoy.
- Sweat it out, sans cost with our fitness program that lets you choose any fitness centre of your choice.
- A fully covered medical insurance plan that will never make you grow sick of hospital bills.
- We are an equal-opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
- And, one of the more popular office perks: four lovable dogs and one opinionated cat who are always around for attention, treats, and the occasional cameo in meetings.
