Job summary

Whatfix Inc. is seeking a Technical Writer to own the quality and delivery of product documentation and customer-facing content from India.

You will revise existing material and create clear guides that align with new features and AI-driven offerings, ensuring consistency across documentation across platforms. Ideal candidates have strong editing skills, the ability to learn new technical concepts quickly, and experience with API documentation.

What do you get to do?

• Owning the quality and delivery of technical documentation, and other customer-facing content materials.
• Revising all the product content and keeping them updated with ongoing feature releases and updates
• Creating clear and well-structured documentation and how-to guides that reduce ambiguity and enable quick integration with Whatfix.
• Proactively, detect and address inconsistencies and information gaps in all forms of customer-facing content.
• Train, and onboard other writers

Requirements:

• Outstanding writing skills, grammar, editorial skills, ability to articulate information exceptionally well, and attention to detail
• Ability to learn new technical concepts, skills, and tools quickly
• The ability to identify a problem and follow it through to resolution
• Ability to work independently and reliably with minimal supervision in a non-traditional setting
• Experience working as part of a larger marketing strategy execution plan

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of Technical writing experience
• Science or Engineering graduate
• Previous experience in a product company is a plus.
• Proven experience working under strict deadlines and the ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment
• Passionate about working and growing with a Start-up
• Ambitious to perform and create a legacy to leave behind
• Some leadership experience managing small teams
