Job summary

HELLA India Automotive Pvt Ltd. seeks an experienced embedded systems professional to drive customer requirements analysis, system architecture, and cross-functional proposals for power electronics and battery systems.

The role emphasizes safety standards compliance (ISO 26262/IEC 61508) and end-to-end product lifecycle knowledge. You will interact with customers for technical topics, review system and software artifacts, and coordinate with SW/HW/MD/testing teams.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech or ME/MTech in Electronics or ECE.
• 5–7 years of automotive industry experience.
• Automotive domain experience.
• English, written and spoken.
• Experience with IEC 61508 or ISO 26262 safety standards.
• Experience with system requirements and architecture in embedded systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer requirements during acquisition and product development.
• Create system requirements and architecture; review system and SW artifacts.
• Interface with customers for technical topics and proposals.
• Define concepts for Power/Battery electronics: system and software definitions.
• Experience in FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis).
• Coordinate with cross-functional domains to prepare technical proposals.
• Knowledge of IBM DOORS, IBM Rhapsody, MKS/PTC Integrity tools.
• Oversee product release process and configuration management.

YOUR TASKS

• Customer requirements analysis during acquisition & during product development - functional and non-functional
• Creating System requirements and System Architecture; Review of System and SW Artifacts.
• Primary customer interface for technical topics: Preparation of technical proposals, technical feasibility analysis for customer requirements
• Product know how on Power Electronics (DCDC) or Battery Electronics products: Concept definitions - System and SW definition
• Experience in the FMEA (Failure Mode & Effect Analysis).
• Coordinate with internal domains to prepare technical proposals: Coordination / conflict resolution (technical)-different domains (SW/HW/MD/Testing) - Cross-functional expertise in multiple engineering domains
• Has knowledge and experiences in safety related regulations and standards (IEC 61508 or ISO 26262) Knowledge in Design Verification Planning
• Microprocessors and Microcontrollers knowledge (Renesas and Infineon AURIX)
• Experience in requirement engineering tools like IBM DOORs, IBM Rhapsody etcExperience in the field of Embedded Systems significantly in the Automotive domain and knowledge of product development life cycle from Acquisition till Production
• Knowledge of MKS/PTC Integrity tool
• Knowledge of product release process and configuration management

Your Qualifications

• 5 -7 years of experience in Automotive Industry
