Job summary

Paradeep Phosphates (PPL) in Goa, India, seeks an experienced professional to oversee technical services and laboratory functions at the plant. You will monitor performance maps and supervise energy-saving initiatives to boost efficiency.

The role supports operations during troubleshooting, drives quality improvements in products and processes, and ensures compliance with statutory requirements. You will also coordinate annual budgeting and oversee revamp projects to modernize equipment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the technical services and laboratory functions of the plant.
• Monitor the performance map of the plant to ensure optimal functioning.
• Implement and monitor energy-saving projects to enhance plant efficiency and reduce energy consumption.
• Provide assistance to the operation department during troubleshooting, new modifications, and other operational challenges.
• Monitor and implement improvements in the quality of products and processes.
• Monitor the plant's capacity and identify necessary modifications to enhance efficiency and production.
• Conduct regular energy audits to identify areas for improvement and implement energy-saving measures.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements and provide necessary technical data to statutory and subsidy departments.
• Conceptualize and establish new products to meet market demands and enhance the product portfolio.
• Carry out revamp services to update and upgrade plant equipment and systems.
• Validate changes in maintenance procedures and ensure the efficiency and reliability of machinery.
• Manage and oversee the annual budgeting process to allocate resources effectively and efficiently.
