Job summary
Gravity Business Process Pvt. Ltd. invites engineering graduates to join as Technical Proposal Engineer in Calicut, Kerala.
You will handle proposals from start to finish, coordinating with clients, manufacturers and internal teams to ensure technically compliant and commercially competitive offers. Responsibilities include reviewing RFQs, preparing costed proposals, and tracking quotation status, with exposure to enterprise clients across the GCC region.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Procurement or related technical field.
- 1–2 years of experience in proposals, estimation, procurement or sales engineering.
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Strong skills in MS Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
Responsibilities

Gravity Business Process Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a Technical Proposal Engineer to join our Technical Proposal & Procurement team. You'll manage proposals from start to finish, working with clients, manufacturers and internal teams to deliver offers that are both technically compliant and commercially competitive.
- Review and analyse RFQs, tenders, enquiries and technical specifications
- Identify suitable products, equipment and technical solutions for customer requirements
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals, quotations and tender submissions
- Review datasheets, drawings and BOQ/BOM documents
- Coordinate with manufacturers and suppliers on pricing, lead times and compliance documents
- Prepare costing, pricing and margins, and compare supplier offers on technical and commercial terms
- Draft compliance statements, technical submittals, deviations and clarifications
- Support negotiations and prepare revised quotations
- Track quotation status, maintain the proposal funnel in CRM and follow up on opportunities
- Hand over confirmed orders smoothly to the operations and procurement teams
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Procurement or a related technical field
- 1-2 years of experience in proposals, estimation, procurement or sales engineering (freshers are welcome to apply)
- Strong skills in MS Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Clear communication and close attention to detail
- Familiarity with Odoo CRM is a plus
- Exposure to Oil & Gas, Industrial Safety, Fire & Gas, Instrumentation or Industrial Equipment is an added advantage
- Work on proposals for enterprise clients across the GCC region
- Hands-on, end-to-end exposure to the full proposal lifecycle
- Learn technical evaluation, costing and negotiation from experienced professionals
