Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead development of Java microservices and messaging platforms in a fast-paced environment. The role requires deep expertise in Java 8, Spring Boot, and Microservices, with hands-on delivery ownership in Agile Scrum. You will collaborate with DevOps for CI/CD and ensure scalable, secure API services for messaging platforms.

Location: Vasundhara Ghaziabad (on-site). 10+ years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong in Java 8, Spring Boot and Microservices.
• Experience with RabbitMQ or Kafka messaging systems.
• Proficient in Git version control.
• Familiarity with DB2 database.
• Hands-on Agile project delivery experience.
• 10+ years of overall experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Java microservices for messaging platforms.
• Monitor message delivery status and troubleshoot delivery failures.
• Implement API security, rate limiting, and error handling.
• Collaborate with DevOps for CI/CD pipeline integration and deployment.
• Optimize performance and scalability of messaging services.
• Maintain detailed API integration and deployment guides.

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency/Skills):

• 2. Working knowledge of Message Queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka).
• 3. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as GIT.
• 4. Familiarity with DB2 database.
