The role requires hands-on experience with SMS gateway integration (SMPP, HTTP, REST APIs), MQ systems, database know-how with DB2, and a proactive, Agile mindset to design secure, scalable APIs and interoperability layers for government/taxation/BFSI domain initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong in Java 8, Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
• Hands-on with SMS Gateway Integration (SMPP, HTTP, REST APIs).
• Working knowledge of Message Queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka).
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as GIT.
• Familiarity with DB2 database.
• Working experience in Agile projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Java microservices for messaging platforms.
• Integrate with SMS Gateways.
• Ensure compliance including registration, template management, and consent APIs.
• Implement API security, rate limiting, and error handling in microservices.
• Develop dashboards and logging for SMS campaign monitoring and analytics.
• Collaborate with DevOps for CI/CD pipeline integration and deployment.
• Optimize performance and ensure scalability of messaging services.
• Maintain detailed documentation of API interfaces, integrations, and deployment guides.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong in Java 8, Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
• Hands-on with SMS Gateway Integration (SMPP, HTTP, REST APIs).
• Working knowledge of Message Queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka).
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as GIT.
