Job summary

JRD Systems in Bengaluru seeks an experienced Project Manager with strong Business Analysis and Scrum background to lead and deliver complex technical initiatives. You will bridge stakeholders and technical teams, drive planning, execution, and delivery with Agile rigor.

Ideal candidates have 7-10 years in PM, hands-on BA exposure, and proven ability to manage cross-functional teams across time zones. Emphasis on SDLC, APIs, data flows, and governance within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of experience in Project Management with hands-on Business Analysis exposure.
• Strong background in managing technical projects (application development, integrations, cloud, or enterprise systems).
• Proven experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies; Scrum Master experience preferred.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, or similar.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, system architecture, APIs, data flows, and integration projects.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end technical project delivery, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives are achieved.
• Develop and manage project plans, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including Developers, QA, DevOps, and Business stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with organizational standards, processes, and governance.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, user stories, and use cases.
• Act as Scrum Master for Agile projects, facilitating sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews.
• Manage product backlogs, prioritize tasks, and remove impediments to ensure continuous delivery.
• Promote Agile best practices and coach teams on Scrum principles.

The ideal candidate will serve as a crucial link between stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring successful project outcomes through effective planning, execution, and delivery. This role requires a balanced blend of project management expertise, analytical capability, and hands-on Agile/Scrum experience.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Delivery

• Lead end-to-end technical project delivery, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives are achieved.
• Develop and manage project plans, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including Developers, QA, DevOps, and Business stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with organizational standards, processes, and governance.

Business Analysis

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, user stories, and use cases.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specifications.
• Support functional and UAT testing to ensure deliverables meet business expectations.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including BRDs, FRDs, and change requests.
• Act as Scrum Master for Agile projects, facilitating sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews.
• Manage product backlogs, prioritize tasks, and remove impediments to ensure continuous delivery.
• Promote Agile best practices and coach teams on Scrum principles.

Stakeholder & Team Management

• Serve as a single point of contact for business teams, technical teams, and leadership.
• Communicate project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders clearly and proactively.
• Build strong relationships across distributed/global teams.
• Manage vendor interactions as needed.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7-10 years of experience in Project Management with hands-on Business Analysis exposure.
• Strong background in managing technical projects (application development, integrations, cloud, or enterprise systems).
• Proven experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies; Scrum Master experience preferred.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, or similar.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, system architecture, APIs, data flows, and integration projects.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications: PMP, CSM, SAFe, PRINCE2, or equivalent.
• Experience with SQL queries, reporting tools, or basic data analysis.
• Exposure to Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP) or DevOps practices.
• Experience working with US/global teams across multiple time zones
