Job summary

ICF Next Bangalore is seeking a Civil/Environmental Engineer to support planning, review, and field supervision of urban infrastructure projects. You will assist in DPR preparation, drawings, specifications, and progress monitoring to ensure quality and compliance with plans.

Candidates should have a degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering and at least 5 years of experience in urban infrastructure, DPR review, site supervision, and coordination with municipal bodies.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering.
• 5 years of experience in urban infrastructure or municipal projects (DPR review, construction monitoring, site supervision).
• Hands-on experience in urban infrastructure implementation and coordination with government agencies.

Key Responsibilities

• Support planning and implementation of technical and infrastructure activities
• Assist in preparation and review of DPRs, drawings, specifications and reports
• Undertake field inspections to monitor quality and physical progress
• Compare site progress with approved plans, schedules and technical requirements
• Document site observations, constraints and corrective-action needs
• Support measurement and reporting of physical progress
• Coordinate with the Project Coordinator, contractors, consultants and municipal engineers
• Provide technical inputs to progress reviews and reports
• Maintain field records, inspection notes and photographic documentation
• Support CITIIS platform reporting and technical capacity‑building activities

Required skills and abilities

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering.
• 5 years of experience in urban infrastructure or municipal projects. Relevant backgrounds include DPR review, construction monitoring, site supervision, quality monitoring, progress reporting and coordination with ULBs or government agencies.
• Hands on experience in Urban infrastructure implementation; DPR and technical document review; site monitoring; physical progress tracking; quality monitoring; technical documentation; contractor and government coordination.
