Job summary

Opus Technologies in Pune (Hybrid) is seeking a TPM Technical Program Manager with 7–12 years of experience to drive end-to-end technology programs. You will partner with technology teams to translate business opportunities into detailed stories and work closely with Product and Development to ensure requirements are met.

The role requires strong data analysis, cross-functional leadership, and excellent communication as you coordinate with internal teams and external partners to deliver

TPM Technical Program Manager

Experience - 7 to 12 years

Location - Pune (Hybrid)

Role & Responsibilities:

This role involves partnering with Technology teams to understand new business opportunities and translate functional requirements into detailed stories. The candidate will work closely with the development teams to support them in completing the design and implementation phases of the project life cycle. They will act as a bridge between Product and development to ensure all requirements are identified, documented, and met.

The role involves:

• Strong data analysis skills with the ability to identify trends and leverage insights to forecast future outcomes.
• Partnering closely with Product and Development teams to design and establish specifications for delivery by the development team.
• Engage with external vendors and third-party partners to align on integrations, delivery timelines, and service expectations, ensuring seamless coordination across systems.
• Collaborate with customer-facing teams (e.g., Product) to gather insights, prioritise features and address their pain points effectively.
• Translation of business requirements into detailed Development stories and identifying acceptance criteria.
• Analysing and understanding current design to ensure that the context and implications of change are understood by the Development team and incorporated into feature discussions.
• Determine development impacts to current processing and work with programmers and users to ensure accuracy of enhancements and elimination of gaps.
• Ability to manage stakeholder expectations through data-driven conversations.
• Performing technical analysis of platform hardware and software to ensure that business and functional requirements can be met.
• Produce systems design documentation in accordance with Mastercard documentation standards, ensuring features and associated documentation are clear and easily consumable by other engineering teams. Lead reviews of technical requirements.
• Document and coordinate audit controls and compliance requirements.
• Provide technical support to Business Owners during implementation of new products/services.
• Operate as part of a high-performing, co-located Agile Scrum team, contributing to sprint planning, backlog refinement, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Preferred Skills:

• Strong experience in leading complex, cross-functional technical programs with end-to-end delivery ownership
• Deep understanding of Agile practices, stakeholder management, and risk-driven execution
• Solid technical acumen with the ability to engage engineering teams and align delivery with business outcomes
• Technical program delivery experience including software development lifecycle, cloud-native software products, CI/CD, and microservices APIs.
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to quickly gain technical understanding of Consumer Data Managements services.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to drive out detail and build consensus from stakeholders.
• Excellent communication/presentation skills.
• Experience or knowledge of Agile development an advantage.
• Exposure to Java development and work experience in a software development environment a distinct advantage.
