Job summary

Talentiser Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to lead complex, multi-team initiatives in underwriting technology. You will own release calendars, coordinate BAU operations, and oversee large transformation programs including cloud moves and AI deployments.

You will drive RAID, manage budgets and vendor relationships, and ensure delivery excellence with measurable dashboards and robust governance across regulated environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in technical program/project management delivering software in enterprise environments
• Strong grasp of SDLC, Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and hybrid delivery for regulated environments
• Technical fluency: APIs, integrations, microservices, databases, cloud basics
• Release, change and incident management experience (ITIL practices)
• Proven management of multiple vendors/SOWs and SLAs
• Risk and dependency management across multiple teams
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, MS Project or equivalent; reporting and dashboards
• Budget tracking and program financials
• Clear written and verbal communication including steering-committee reporting
• BFSI experience and underwriting domain exposure
• Experience with core insurance platforms (e.g., TCS BaNCS)
• Delivery of AI/ML or data platform programs
• DevOps/CI-CD exposure (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps)
• Cloud migration experience (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• IRDAI guidelines awareness and DPDP Act
• Certifications: PMP/PgMP/SAFeRTE/SPC/CSM/ITIL v4
• SQL and data analysis

Responsibilities

• Own the release calendar for underwriting systems: release planning, CAB, go/no-go, deployment and post-release verification
• Govern production support: incident, problem and change management; drive RCA and permanent fixes
• Track and enforce internal/vendor SLAs for L2/L3 support and enhancements
• Coordinate regulatory and audit-driven technical changes (VAPT closures, DR drills, access reviews)
• Maintain capacity planning across BAU vs. transformation and flag over-commitment
• Plan and run large programs such as rules engine migration, core platform integration, API/microservices modernization, cloud moves and AI model deployment
• Build integrated plans across teams and vendors: milestones, critical path, dependencies, environments and cutover
• Run program cadence: sprint reviews, PI/quarterly planning, steering committees and status reporting
• Maintain RAID logs and drive mitigations to closure
• Partner with Architecture on design decisions, non-functional requirements and technical debt
• Manage program budgets, vendor SOWs, milestones and invoicing
• Plan and execute data migration, parallel runs, cutover and hypercare
• Introduce delivery metrics and dashboards; standardize delivery artefacts

Job description

Ensure underwriting technology is delivered predictably and run reliably. The TPM plans and orchestrates multi-team, multi-vendor programs for transformation, and owns the delivery and operational rhythmfor BAU: releases, production support, SLAs, risks and dependencies.

Key responsibilities

Business-as-usual (BAU)

• Own the release calendarfor underwriting systems:release planning, changeadvisory (CAB), go / no-go, deployment and post-release verification.
• Govern production support: incident, problemand change management for underwriting applications; drive RCA and permanent fixes.
• Track and enforce internal and vendor SLAs for L2 / L3 support and enhancement requests.
• Coordinate regulatory and audit-driven technical changes (VAPT closures, DR drills, accessreviews, IRDAI cybersecurity requirements).
• Maintain capacity planning across BAU vs. transformation and flag over-commitment early.

Transformation programs

• Plan and run largeprograms such as rules enginemigration, core platformintegration, API / microservices modernisation, cloud moves and AI model deployment.
• Build integrated plans across teamsand vendors: milestones, critical path, dependencies, environments and cutover.
• Run the program cadence: sprint reviews, PI / quarterly planning, steering committees and status reporting.
• Maintain RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) logs and drive mitigations to closure.
• Partner with Architecture on technical design decisions, non-functional requirements (performance, availability, security) and technical debt.
• Manage program budgets, vendor statements of work, milestones and invoicing linked to deliverables.
• Plan and execute data migration, parallel runs, cutover and hypercare.

Delivery excellence

• Introduce delivery metrics (DORA-style) and continuously improve engineering flow.
• Standardise delivery artefacts and make program health visible through dashboards.

Skills required

• 5+ years in technical program/ project management delivering software in an enterprise environment
