Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.

• 5+ years of Retail Systems / POS development and delivery experience.
• Strong knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, DevOps, Lean or similar delivery methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage medium to large-scale, cross-divisional and multi-year technology projects.
• Own end-to-end project delivery including requirements, design, development, testing and implementation.
• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, resources, risks and dependencies.
• Identify and proactively manage cross-project dependencies and technical risks.
• Communicate project/program status to stakeholders, sponsors and senior leadership.
• Support strategic technology roadmap and portfolio planning.
• Drive implementation of new technologies and vendor integrations.
• Conduct technical walkthroughs with engineering teams to ensure feasibility and architecture standards.

Role: Technical Program Manager (TPM) – Retail / POS

Experience: 15+ Years

Work Mode: Work from Office – 4 Days a Week

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced Technical Program Manager with a strong technical background and extensive experience in Retail Systems and POS (Point of Sale).

The candidate should have strong knowledge of technical architecture, Retail POS/Store systems, eCommerce platforms, software development and enterprise technology delivery.

Technical expertise and POS/Retail domain experience are mandatory for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage medium to large-scale, cross-divisional and multi-year technology projects.
• Own end-to-end project delivery including requirements, design, development, testing and implementation.
• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, resources, risks and dependencies.
• Identify and proactively manage cross-project dependencies and technical risks.
• Communicate project/program status to stakeholders, sponsors and senior leadership.

• Support organizational change management and complex technology implementations.

Mandatory Technical & Domain Skills

• Strong Technical Program Management experience.
• Strong understanding of technical architecture and enterprise systems.
• Strong experience in Retail Systems / POS.
• Understanding of Store/POS systems vs. eCommerce platforms, including key similarities and differences.
• Experience in Retail technology development and delivery.

Required Qualifications

• Experience creating and executing implementation strategies for complex systems.
• Strong knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, DevOps, Lean or other delivery methodologies.
• Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with a high sense of urgency.
