Job summary

Google Bengaluru is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead complex, multi-disciplinary programs from requirements through delivery in the infrastructure, supply chain and manufacturing domain. You will partner with engineering, product, and operations teams to plan, track risks, and communicate progress to executives.

You’ll analyze manufacturing data, build insightful reports and dashboards, automate workflows, and translate technical tradeoffs for non-technical stakeholders while driving

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in program management.
  • Experience with data warehouse design and exploratory data analysis.
  • Experience with hardware manufacturing test industry and business operations.
  • Experience with F1-SQL and AI/Machine Learning.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with engineering and product development teams to understand business requirements and develop tailored solutions.
  • Analyze manufacturing data and other data sources to identify trends, anomalies, and optimization opportunities; create insightful reports.
  • Create and maintain robust, user-friendly products with real-time visibility into key operational metrics and proactive alerting.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and workflows and build tools/scripts to improve efficiency.
  • Translate complex technical issues into clear summaries for management and facilitate cross-functional coordination.

Preferred qualifications
  • 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • 5 years of experience in architecting data engineering, data warehousing, data analytics, business intelligence, visualization, and complex data solutions using SQL and Python.
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
  • Full stack development using Angular and Javascripts.

The Infrastructure Supply Chain and Manufacturing (ISM) Product Operations team aims to take an AI first approach to digitize and automate different aspects of product operations. Responsibilities
  • Partner with engineering and product development teams to understand business requirements. Engage with managers from cross functional teams to develop solutions tailored to their unique business processes.
  • Analyze manufacturing data and other relevant data sources to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for optimization. Develop insightful reports that clearly communicate key metrics to stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain robust, user-friendly products that provide real-time visibility into key operational metrics. Implement proactive alerting mechanisms to notify management of potential issues.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and workflows. Collaborate with relevant teams to develop tools and scripts that streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Translate complex technical and engineering issues into clear, concise summaries that are easily understood by management and cross-functional teams. Facilitate communication between different teams and ensure tight coordination.
