As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi‑disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross‑functional partners across the company. You’re equally comfortable explaining your team’s analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.
The ML Data organization was formed at the beginning of 2024 with a focus on improving ML data operations, governance, and responsible practices across Google. Our ML Data teams collaborate with other teams such as Cloud, Core, Google DeepMind, Google Research, gTech, Knowledge and Information (K&I) and Labs.
In this role, you will collaborate with cross‑functional teams and product leadership to harness data and data systems to accelerate the development of extensive ML models. You will provide easy access to high‑quality data for any AI task, whether it’s human, synthetic, licensed, or Google native. You’ll secure AI models with tamper‑proof lineage, transparent approvals, and secured storage to accelerate, accountable product and model launches. You will also evaluate, track, remediate, and prevent the recurrence of safety risks.
