Nasdaq, Inc. in Bengaluru invites a Technical Onboarding Specialist with UNIX focus to join our Bangalore technology center. You will onboard customers to Nasdaq Trade Surveillance SaaS, manage stakeholders, and perform data testing in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires 3+ years in capital markets, strong UNIX and GIT skills, and the ability to work UK shift. You will collaborate across sales, support and development teams to ensure smooth onboarding and customer success.

Qualifications

  • At least three years in capital markets with exposure to multiple products.
  • Proficient with Unix/Linux commands and Git version control.
  • Strong data mapping, testing and onboarding experience.
  • Excellent communication across stakeholders.
  • Ability to work UK shift.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers post-sales to go live and ensure success.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders to drive retention.
  • Prepare and deliver tailored project plans for customers.
  • Explain Nasdaq data specifications to customers clearly.
  • Draft change requests and support data mapping tasks.
  • Assist in data quality testing and issue resolution.
  • Configure applications per customer needs and QA checks.
  • Prepare sign-off and go-live activities post-UAT.
  • Coordinate with analyst, sales, support and dev teams.
  • Provide weekly status reports to stakeholders.

Nasdaq Technology is looking for a passionate Technical Onboarding Specialist with focus on UNIX & Trading, to join the Bangalore technology center in India. As a Technical Onboarding Specialist, you will be responsible for onboarding new and existing customers onto the Nasdaq Trade Surveillance Software as a Service (SaaS). In this role, you will manage the customers and stakeholders and perform hands‑on technical integration & data testing to onboard customers. We are looking for candidates with a genuine desire and drive to deliver top technology solutions to today's markets and willing to work in UK Shift. Role Responsibilities
  • Client Engagement: Effectively conduct regular meetings with customers from post-sales to go live.
  • Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure customer happiness and retention.
  • Prepare and deliver tailored project plans to the customers.
  • Comprehend and explain the Nasdaq Data Specifications to the customer.
  • Understanding client requirements and drafting change requests to best suit their needs.
  • Implementation: Assist customers in data mapping and exchange specific queries.
  • Perform data quality tests on customer data and work closely with the customer to resolve issues.
  • Set up the application configurations as per the customer requirements and data quality.
  • Preparation of customer sign-off document and go-live activities at the end of the UAT testing.
  • Implement changes as per the change request document and perform vital testing to ensure the changes are working as expected.
  • Team coordination: Work closely with functional analyst, sales, support & development teams to ensure smooth onboarding for all the new clients.
  • Work closely with customer and functional analysts on requirement gathering, analysis and drafting of change request documents.
  • Planning and Reporting: Provide weekly project status reports to internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
  • In-depth expertise in Capital markets, UNIX & Customer Management.
  • At least three years of experience in the Capital Markets domain with exposure to multiple products like Equities, Future, Options, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability working on Unix / Linux commands from basic to sophisticated Prior experience working on version control tools like GIT.
  • Understanding of regular expressions.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally at all levels.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Outstanding customer management & negotiation skills.
  • Education: Any Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
  • It would be great if you Understanding of OTC markets like Forex, Fixed Income etc. Understanding of trading protocols like FIX, Omnet etc.
