Job summary

Nasdaq Technology in Bengaluru invites a Senior Workday Technical Specialist to join the Bangalore technology center in India. You will lead the end-to-end delivery of complex Workday integrations, spanning design, development, testing and deployment for Nasdaq’s global finance processes.

You will work with domain experts, build robust integrations, and collaborate with Nasdaq teams across countries. A strong Workday and API toolkit is essential in this hybrid role.

Qualifications

• 5–11 years of ERP/Workday experience.
• Expertise with Workday integration tools (Studio and EIB) and API programming.
• Strong knowledge of Workday Financial SKUs and security model.

Nasdaq Technology is looking for a passionate Workday Technical Specialist with expertise in the Workday product suite to join the Bangalore technology center in India. As a senior technical analyst, you will play a key role in the delivery of complex technical systems of varying sizes to new and existing customers and will be part of discovering new technologies within the FinTech industry. We are looking for a Technical Specialist to strengthen the Enterprise Solutions team in Bangalore. You will be responsible for driving the execution of central initiatives across the Nasdaq corporate technology portfolio of Software Products and Software Services. We are looking for candidates who share those values along with a genuine desire and drive to deliver top technology solutions to today's markets.

Your role and responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for multi-functional work across the globe, delivering critical solutions and services to Nasdaq's finance processes and operations.
• You will be responsible for crucial design activities and internal customer interaction, building strong relations and trust with key business and technology collaborators.
• In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a strong expert team delivering sophisticated technology solutions worldwide.
• You will work with and learn from domain experts, and have the opportunity to take tackle responsibility and progress within the Enterprise Solutions team.
• Besides working closely with your colleagues in Bangalore, you will also work closely with Nasdaq teams in other countries.
• Receive, analyze, process, handle and address technical user inquiries and requests
• Provide technical solutions and configure the application per business requirements, such that it needs minimal deviation from delivered processes
• Build and maintain integrations with internal systems and third-party vendors.
• Complete recurring and ad-hoc activities/processes required to maintain and administrate Financials systems
• Build technical specification documents for new Integrations and Reports and document solutions for future reference.
• Provide solutions for efficiency, especially for areas that see recurring issues and incidents
• Perform end-to-end testing and build test cases
• Participate and carry out various phases of Software Development Process
• Follow established processes to ensure quality of work you're completing

We expect you to have :

• At least 5 to 11 years of experience in ERP systems.
• Expertise in using Workday Integration tools (Studio and EIB), Report Writer, and Calculated Fields Expertise with Web services - REST and SOAP API programming and implementation.
• Significant exposure to Workday Financial SKUs; including one or more of the following SKUs - Core Financials, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable / Revenue Management
• Sophisticated knowledge of the Workday Security model and configuration
• Expertise with Workday Extend and Prism is a bonus
• Education Qualification: Bachelor/Master in computer science or other engineering fields
