Job description

We have an excellent opening for Technical Manager - Java with travel technology leader in Industry.

Exp: 11 to 17 Yrs

Mode of Work: Hybrid (3 days from Office)

JD:As a software engineering manager, You will:

• Lead and support a team in an agile environment responsible for analyzing user needs and design, code, test, debug, document and maintain software solutions aligned with product roadmap.
• Actively perform roadmap explorations (study, integrate new technologies & third‑party solutions) aligned with product vision.
• Lead a specialized area which may have diverse functional elements.
• Provide your expertise in developing, debugging, and designing software applications and be hands‑on to support the team when needed.
• Lead/Participate to design, architecture of software applications.
• Collaborate with supervisors and/or functional peer group managers/technical experts on a constant basis.
• Be responsible for the talent development of your team members.

Be responsible to define team objectives and translate them into individual objectives for each team member in line with organizational goals – Evaluate team and individual performance.

Develop the team based on continuous assessment, have regular 1‑1s with team members, coach/mentor them when needed.

Be responsible to motivate and guide individual team members to stretch and expand their own capabilities (know‑how, behavior, communication, etc.) – Build/manage a team fostering a collaborative work environment which promotes innovation and empowerment.

Provide input for salary reviews.

Skills & Other requirements:

• 12 to 15 years of experience in IT industry with a background of building software applications.

• Strong leadership and people management skills.
