Qualifications

• Experience leading SAP technical teams across ABAP, Basis, HANA, Integration, UI5/Fiori, etc.
• Deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture and Clean Core principles.

• Build and lead a high-performing SAP technical team for the APAC GTMS organization.
• Mentor and guide technical teams ensuring adherence to architecture, coding, and quality standards.
• Conduct regular technical reviews and audits with Architects and Technical Leads for high-quality deliverables.
• Ensure development activities are documented and thoroughly tested across scenarios.
• Communicate technical solutions and project updates to stakeholders and leadership.
• Set priorities and expectations to ensure timely project execution.
• Drive GTMS rollouts, template deployments, and enhancement initiatives.

Vistex Technical Manager to join our team. The GTMS Technical Manager leads the technical landscape, development teams, and platform stability across GTMS SAP systems, Technical Manager will ensure reliable operations, scalable architecture, and successful delivery of SAP technical solutions in various areas like Design, implement, and maintain IT solutions, ensuring they align with organizational goals and meet specific business requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Build and develop a high-performing technical team for the APAC GTMS organization.
• Lead, mentor, and guide technical teams by providing technical expertise and ensuring adherence to architecture, coding, and quality standards.
• Conduct regular technical reviews and audits with Architects and Technical Leads to ensure high-quality deliverables across projects.
• Ensure all development activities, change requests, and technical solutions are properly documented and thoroughly tested across all applicable scenarios.
• Communicate technical solutions, project updates, and architectural decisions effectively with business stakeholders, customers, developers, and leadership teams.
• Set clear priorities, objectives, and expectations for team members to ensure timely and successful project execution.
• Continuously evaluate and improve existing systems by recommending and implementing enhancements, best practices, and new technologies to optimize performance and support evolving business requirements.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues, provide guidance during critical production incidents, and ensure the stability and smooth operation of implemented solutions.
• Manage SAP technical teams across ABAP, Basis, HANA, Integration, UI5/Fiori, and related technologies.
• Ensure adherence to Clean Core principles (especially for SAP S/4HANA) and SAP best practices to meet GTMS requirements.
• Ensure the development of efficient, scalable, and performance-optimized ABAP code.
• Oversee and govern all GTMS enhancements, including Badi's, User Exits, and Enhancement Framework implementations.
• Lead and actively contribute to the technical delivery of multiple GTMS implementation projects and template rollouts.
• Drive multiple GTMS rollouts, template deployments, and enhancement initiatives across global projects.

Experience

Required

10-14 years:

Experience in SAP ABAP, who led team in various positions like Technical Lead / Associate Technical Manager.

Experience in managing SAP technical teams (ABAP, Basis, HANA, Integration, UI5/Fiori, etc.).

Experience in conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for production incidents and implementing effective resolutions.

Experience in performance tuning of SQL, ABAP programs, and SAP HANA views

Familiar with all project management methodologies

Good at understanding business processes

Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud computing, databases, networks, and other relevant technologies

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
