Job summary

Vistex Asia-Pacific Private Ltd. is seeking an Associate Software Engineer - Trainee to provide technical consulting for the Go-to-Market Suite (GTMS) cloud offering.

You will set up technical elements like fields, data models, templates, and perform data loads, while developing customer-specific enhancements and custom code using Vistex scripting tools. The role requires willingness to learn the Vistex product, deliver on timelines, and collaborate with GTMS customer projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or a related field is required.
• Experience with ABAP/SD/HANA is a plus.
• Familiarity with ABAP reports, Open SQL, and modularization techniques.

Responsibilities

• Develop basic ABAP programs and reports under senior guidance.
• Work with DDIC objects, Internal Tables, and Work Areas.
• Write basic Open SQL queries to retrieve and process data.
• Apply basic OOP concepts in ABAP development.
• Perform debugging and basic issue resolution.
• Support testing, documentation, and code changes as required.
• Identify product and customer-specific project issues and work with product development to resolve them.
• Prepare and provide documentation to the customer for system support.
• Learn and gain expertise on new and current Vistex products and solution offerings.

Vistex Associate Software Engineer -Trainee GTMS will provide technical consulting for implementation of Vistex's cloud offering - Go-to-Market Suite®. individual will be responsible for setting up of technical elements such as fields, data models, templates and executing data loads. The Technical Consultant, GTMS will also be responsible for developing any customer specific enhancements and writing custom code using Vistex's scripting tool and executing any tests related to these developments. Must be willing and committed to learning the Vistex product and deliver per project timelines. Knowledge of SAP business processes would be helpful. Should support the further development of the GTMS product and be an active team member on GTMS customer projects.

Qualifications

Bachelors or better in Computer Engineering or related field.

Experience

Required

Added advantage if trained in ABAP/SD/HANA.

Gain exposure to Enhancements, User Exits, BADIs, and Function Modules.

Assist with ALV Reports, Internal Tables, Open SQL, and Modularization techniques

Develop and maintain basic ABAP Reports, Programs, and Interfaces.
