Job description

Vistex Technical Consultant, GTMS will provide technical consulting for implementation of Vistex’s cloud offering - Go-to-Market Suite®. The individual will be responsible for setting up of technical elements such as fields, data models, file templates and executing data loads. The Technical Consultant, GTMS will also be responsible for developing any customer specific enhancements and writing custom code using Vistex’s scripting tool and executing any tests related to these developments. Must be willing and committed to learning the Vistex product and deliver per project timelines. Knowledge of SAP business processes would be helpful. Should support the further development of the GTMS product and be an active team member on GTMS customer projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote consulting services to customers implementing Vistex products and solutions, along with participating in on-site meetings when required.
• Collaborate closely with functional consultants to clearly understand custom enhancement requirements and ensure accurate technical delivery.
• Prepare file templates and manage data uploads into the GTMS system.
• Coordinate with the offshore team to design and develop interfaces with the host system.
• Write and execute detailed technical specifications for system enhancements.
• Perform quality assurance on enhancements and business scripts developed for customers to ensure accuracy and performance.
• Identify product-related and customer-specific project issues, and work with the product development team to resolve them effectively.
• Prepare and deliver comprehensive documentation to support customers in system maintenance and operations.
• Continuously learn and build expertise in both new and existing Vistex products and solution offerings.

Education

Required: Bachelors or better in Computer Engineering or related field.

Experience

• 3-6 years of experience, including:
  • Hands‑on ABAP experience
  • Involvement in some SAP full lifecycle implementations
  • Independent thinking with keen problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to learn new software quickly
  • Ability to work with new systems that must be interfaced such as SFDC, .NET Middleware, etc.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and within tight deadlines
  • Committed to work with offshore teams for project and product related tasks
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%

Preferred

Vistex knowledge or implementation experience is a plus.
