Job summary

Linde Global IT Delivery Center, Kolkata, seeks a Technical Lead for Vendor Invoice Management in SAP to own incident resolution, drive improvements, and coordinate VIM functionality across SAP ECC and S/4Hana. You will work with Corporate IT and regional teams (EMEA/APAC), support automated testing, and guide stakeholders in adopting SAP best practices.

Requires a bachelor’s degree in business informatics or business administration, global VIM certification, and 6+ years in VIM with SAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business informatics, business administration, or equivalent.
• Global Certification in Vendor Invoice Management for SAP Solutions.
• S/4HANA implementation experience required; ITIL certification preferred.
• 6+ years of experience in VIM design, implementation and support.

Responsibilities

• Handle incident and problem resolution (3rd level support) within SLAs with IT teams and business stakeholders.
• Support automated test development and regression testing during major releases.
• Gather requirements and translate into functional/technical specifications.
• Design and implement improvements for Vendor Invoice Management in SAP ECC and S/4Hana.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reductions, and leverage S/4Hana capabilities.
• Coordinate implementation of new VIM functionality and knowledge transfer to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with onshore/offshore teams and external service providers to ensure secure, compliant solutions.

The Technical Lead in this position will be responsible for all solution components of the Vendor Invoice Management solution. And contribute to configuration, continuous improvements and standardizations of VIM solutions across SAP systems with the objective to optimize exception, approval and blocked invoice workflows and to increase efficiencies and to maximize the level of automation of the full end-to-end process.

Making an impact. What will you do?

• The Technical Lead will be responsible for handling the incident & problem resolution (3rd level support) within defined SLAs and set priorities in close collaboration with Corporate IT and regional IT teams (2nd level support) and with business stakeholders in regions EMEA and APAC Regression testing & regression test support during major releases and system upgrades


• And support the development of automated tests


• Also, gather and analyze business requirements, translate these requirements into functional and technical scope and functional specifications


• Ans also, design, build and implement improvements and new functional solutions for Vendor Invoice Management processes in SAP based on state-of-the-art SAP standard system capabilities and technical standards, complying with Linde IT standards and IT strategy and fully meeting business requirements


• You will also be required to identify opportunities for process improvements, efficiencies and cost reductions, leveraging S/4Hana capabilities and new VIM functionality


• And coordinate the implementation of new VIM functionality in SAP ECC and S/4Hana Systems according to Linde plc project management guidelines


• You must contribute in knowledge transfer/guidance to and training preparation and delivery for IT and business stakeholders of new IT functionalities and IT solutions


• And collaborate and consult with business and IT teams or stakeholders and manage external service providers to deliver highly dependable, secure, and integrated solutions meeting compliance requirements to the business


• Lastly, cross-skilling team members to allow growth of team members, distribution of knowledge across team members and a more flexible work allocation.

Winning in your role. Do you have what it takes?

• You must have a bachelor's degree in business informatics, Business Administration, or equivalent qualification


• And Global Certification(s) in Vendor Invoice Management for SAP® Solutions, S/4 Hana implementation experience required, ITIL Certification preferred


• A must is also 6+ years of experience in technical design, implementation and support of international large-scale systems in Vendor Invoice Management for SAP® Solutions (VIM), at a minimum experience in two end-to-end large scale VIM implementations.


• Along with Experience in working with onshore as well as offshore teams


• Knowledge on extensive skills in the implementation and optimization of Vendor Invoice Management for SAP® Solutions (up to most up-to-date versions in SAP ECC and S/4Hana) and in the set-up, administration and optimization of Invoice Capture for SAP


• Must is In-depth knowledge of SAP and VIM standard functionalities with the aim to minimise programming
