Job summary

Société Générale de Surveillance SA is seeking an experienced software engineer to design, develop, test, and deploy scalable applications in Bengaluru. You will work on APIs, web services, and system integrations, creating responsive interfaces and robust backend services.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years in software development, strong PHP/Yii/Angular skills, and experience with REST and Oracle PL/SQL in enterprise environments. Agile/Scrum experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable application solutions.
• Develop new features and enhancements based on business requirements.
• Create and maintain APIs, web services, and system integrations.
• Develop responsive user interfaces and backend services.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards.
• Maintain technical documentation and coding best practices.
• Investigate and resolve production issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes.
• Monitor application performance and troubleshoot system bottlenecks.
• Support release management and production deployments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues.
• Participate in requirement analysis and solution design discussions.
• Understand business processes, application flows, and integration points.
• Work closely with Product Owners, Architects, Project Managers, and SMEs.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and technical governance activities.
