Job summary

Colt Technology Services in India seeks a Network Engineer to contribute to the design, build and maintenance of Colt's core network. You will design, develop and implement networking solutions, and perform rigorous testing to ensure reliability and fault-free operation.

The role requires hands-on testing, experience with multiple vendor devices, and proficiency with BGP, MPLS, and VPN technologies. A strong focus on timely delivery and project coordination is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in circuit planning, provisioning, routing, and configuration aligned with customer requirements.
• Strong understanding of network design (HLD/LLD) and low-level technical planning.
• Hands-on testing experience: continuity, loop, switching, and end-to-end validation.
• Experience in order management, raising planned work and managing delivery timelines.
• Ability to execute infrastructure build, migration, and technology end-of-life (EOL) activities.
• Technical expert in routing protocols like BGP, MPLS, L2VPN, L3 VPN, OSPF, ISIS.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting services on Nokia, Cisco and Juniper devices.

What you will do

The Network Engineer performs key network engineering activities to contribute to the design, development and implementation of Colt's network. They will also conduct troubleshooting and testing on the network to ensure network reliability and to resolve faults.
