About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Technical Lead with 6-8 years of experience in modern scalable web development using the MERN stack, and experience in hosting application in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure). The ideal candidate will lead a high-performing engineering team, own solution architecture, drive best practices, and proactively solve technical and team challenges—not just execute instructions.

We are not looking for a "yes person" but a proactive contributor who challenges ideas constructively, suggests improvements, and leads by example.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end technical design, development, and delivery of scalable web applications using SQL and No SQL DB, Express.js, React.js, NextJs, and Node.js
• Define architectural patterns and enforce best practices in code quality, CI/CD, testing, and security
• Drive cloud-native architecture and deployment strategies on AWS or Azure, optimizing performance and cost
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, DevOps, Design) to deliver features with high quality and velocity
• Provide technical mentorship to team members and conduct code reviews and technical assessments
• Proactively identify risks, propose solutions, and take ownership of resolving bottlenecks without waiting for escalation
• Advocate for continuous improvement in code, architecture, and team practices
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders and push back constructively when needed

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 6–8 years of professional experience in full-stack web development
• Deep expertise in the MERN Stack with production-grade backend and frontend projects
• Deep expertise in designing application for enterprise customers
• Good experience with cloud platforms (preferably AWS or Azure) – including serverless, storage, compute, security, monitoring
• Proven experience in leading engineering teams and taking ownership of delivery
• Solid grasp of system design, data structures, microservices, and API design
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Docker, and cloud-native tools
• Strong debugging, performance tuning, and optimization skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate solutions, challenge ideas, and influence decisions
• Ability to work independently and make judgment calls in ambiguous situations
• Should be proficient in doing development with AI tools and low-code/no-code platforms. Must have hands‑on experience in using such tools for accelerating development and automation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in deploying application in AWS/Azure
• Experience with container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes, ECS, AKS)
• Experience in mentoring engineers and conducting performance evaluations
