Fundamental understanding of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering principals* Good understanding of Engineering Development lifecycles.* Perform Hand calculations to validate the structural and thermal design* Perform concept review and design review (PDR, CDR)* Good general knowledge of mechanical design and conception* Ensure designs meet manufacturing, assembly, and integration requirements. Good experience in BOM creation and Engineering Change processes (with consideration given to implications of changes managing through the process) Solid understanding of drawing standards* Working knowledge of Geometric Tolerancing best practice* Familiarity with FEA tools.
