Job summary

Societe Generale Global Solution Centre in Bengaluru, India, seeks an experienced professional to lead design and impact analysis of new features. You will drive SDLC in line with Agile and IT craftsmanship, mentor teams, and oversee DevOps practices, application modernization, and automation initiatives.

You will collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality artifacts on time while advancing data processing solutions and pipelines.

Qualifications

• Experience: 5 - 8 years.
• Mandatory skills include Core Java, Java Spring Boot, Angular/React, SQL/PLSQL, CI/CD, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and impact analysis of all new features and enhancements.
• Lead all aspects of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) in-line with Agile and IT craftsmanship principles.
• Identify methods to sustain and improve various craftsmanship areas.
• Lead the timely delivery of assigned artifacts with defined quality parameters.
• Perform code review and ensure the quality of code, constantly.
• Automate manual tasks of application maintenance and support to improve efficiency.
• Lead initiatives of application modernization.
• Ensure constant review and update of Agile and DevOps practices.
• Constantly learn new/emerging technologies and mentor teams.
• Monitor the overall production processes such as daily checks, open tickets and aging of issues.
• Collaborate with customers, partners, development teams, chapter and feature teams.
• Co-ordinate with development team and implement audit recommendations.
• Lead DevOps chapters and Guilds.
• Complete the assigned learning path and contribute to daily meetings.
• Guide the team on data processing solutions and building data pipelines.
• Identify new areas of technology and use cases for data validation and implementation.
• Lead the design and technical implementation of the product/project.
• Accountable for technical deliverables.
• Contribute to automation and innovation.
• Mentor and guide the team.
• Define coding standards for the entire technology stack.
• Contribute to code review and architectural design/review to improve the efficiency of the team.
• Ensure that the project is executed as per client's expectations.
• Develop a culture of innovation within the team.
