Job summary

WalkingTree Technologies is seeking an experienced ERP engineer to lead hands-on delivery for D365 F&O and Business Central. You will implement extensions, integrations, data migrations and performance improvements while managing environments and DevOps pipelines.

You will also support presales, develop delivery standards and mentor teams. Strong English communication is required, with experience presenting technical decisions to customers.

Qualifications

• 7-12 years in Microsoft ERP, with 5+ years hands-on in D365 F&O (X++, extensions framework) and/or BC (AL).
• At least two full-lifecycle D365 F&O or BC implementations in a hands-on technical role.
• Data migration at scale and integration patterns (OData, Azure integration services).
• Azure DevOps-based ALM: source control, build automation, deployment pipelines for F&O and BC.

Key responsibilities

Delivery and support

• Own hands-on technical delivery across D365 F&O and Business Central: extensions,customizations, integrations, data migration and performance.
• Run the F&O/BC support and enhancement queue to SLA - triage, root-cause, fix, and preventrecurrence.
• Design and build integrations with Azure services (Logic Apps, Service Bus, APIs) and Dataverse/dual-write where relevant.
• Own environment management, ALM and DevOps pipelines (Azure DevOps, automated builds anddeployments) for ERP engagements.

Presales and practice building

• Support ERP pursuits: solution outlines, effort estimation, demo environments and technicalresponses to RFPs.
• Build the ERP practice's estimation model, delivery standards, checklists and reusable components.
• Lead the technical build of a F&O and Business Central-based product: architecture, ALdevelopment standards, AppSource-readiness and release management.
• Mentor developers and consultants working on ERP engagements; enforce code review and qualitygates.

Must-have skills and experience

• 7-12 years in Microsoft ERP, with 5+ years hands-on in D365 Finance & Operations (X++, extensionsframework) and/or Business Central (AL) - and demonstrable delivery on both stacks.
• At least two full-lifecycle D365 F&O or BC implementations in a hands-on technical role (designthrough go-live and hypercare).
• Data migration at scale (DMF / configuration packages), integration patterns (OData, customservices, Azure integration services), and performance troubleshooting.
• Azure DevOps-based ALM: source control, build automation, deployment pipelines for F&O and BC.
• Experience running a support/AMS engagement to SLA, including estimation and clientcommunication.
• Clear written and spoken English; comfortable working directly with customers and presentingtechnical decisions.

Good to have

• Microsoft certifications: MB-500 (F&O Developer), MB-800 (BC Developer/Consultant), AZ-204 orequivalent; MB-700 a plus.
• Dual-write or Dataverse integration experience; Power Platform exposure (Power Automate, PowerBI).
• AppSource publishing experience or ISV product development background.
• Domain exposure to real estate, manufacturing, retail or professional services.
• Copilot and AI-assisted development awareness across the Dynamics 365 stack
