Y-NOT Design & Mfg is hiring an E-Commerce Technical Lead to own BrandifyME’s ecommerce stack, including storefront, Shopify integrations, Sample Tracker, project workspace, and middleware, onsite in Bangalore.

You will establish architectural baselines, enforce code-review standards, and lead end-to-end integrations (Shopify, ERP/Odoo, shipping). You’ll mentor full‑stack developers and collaborate with the Automation team to ensure scalable, reliable commerce workflows.

• Experience building REST/GraphQL integrations with retries and webhooks.
• Proven track record coaching mid-level engineers.
• Experience in startup/entrepreneurial environments with ambiguity.

E-Commerce Technical Lead

Type: Full-Time Experience: 5+ years Location: Onsite, Bangalore

ABOUT THE ROLE

Y-NOT Design & Mfg is a promotional products, sourcing, and custom manufacturing organization serving Fortune 1000 brands and enterprise clients. Through BrandifyME, our E-Commerce division is focused on building the next generation of digital commerce for customized and branded products at scale. The BrandifyME team owns the companys digital commerce ecosystem, including storefront experience, product merchandising, supplier integrations, customization workflows, corporate stores, pricing synchronization, checkout experience, and large-scale operational e-commerce workflows. The team works across both customer-facing experiences and backend operational processes to create a scalable and efficient commerce platform built for enterprise-level sourcing and fulfillment. The E-Commerce division works closely with the Automation team across multiple initiatives. While BrandifyME focuses on the commerce experience, digital operations, and platform execution, the Automation division develops the internal systems, AI-assisted infrastructure, workflows, and operational tooling that power and enhance those processes behind the scenes. IN YOUR FIRST 6 MONTHS YOU WILL

• Take full ownership of BrandifyME's eCommerce stack: storefront, Shopify integrations, Sample Tracker, project workspace, and eCommerce-side middleware.
• Complete a structured knowledge transfer with the outgoing engineer and establish your own architectural baseline across the codebase.
• Review and approve all eCommerce engineering work before deployment; establish code-review standards the team follows consistently.
• Implement or lead at least one significant integration: Shopify, supplier, ERP (Odoo), shipping provider, or middleware, end to end.
• Coach full-stack developers through a structured growth plan toward senior-level engineering practice.
• Own on-call rotation for eCommerce production incidents and establish clear runbooks for the most common failure modes.
• Collaborate closely with the Automation Lead and Technical Manager to ensure clean handoffs at the eCommerce/Automation boundary.
• Contribute to hiring and onboarding the broader team as BrandifyME scales through Wave 1.

YOU'LL BE A FIT IF

• Experience with PHP Laravel-based applications and backend systems
• Exposure to Shopify/eCommerce platforms and related integrations
• Understanding of APIs, web technologies, and scalable application workflows
• Familiarity with AWS/cloud-hosted environments and deployment workflows is a plus
• Experience working in Agile/SCRUM-based engineering environments
• You have production experience with Shopify Plus or an equivalent eCommerce platform, you have personally owned integrations end to end.
• You are fluent in the full stack we use: Vite / React / TypeScript on the frontend; Supabase / PostgreSQL / Deno edge functions on the backend.
• You have strong PostgreSQL discipline: RLS, migrations, query performance and have shipped systems with real production surface area.
• You have built and operated REST/GraphQL integrations with retry logic, idempotency patterns, and webhook reliability.
• You have a proven track record coaching mid-level engineers toward senior-level practice, not just directing senior peers.
• You have worked in a startup or entrepreneurial environment and are comfortable with ambiguity, fast iteration, and a codebase that has 100+ migrations.

BONUS POINTS

• Experience with Odoo ERP integrations or promotional-products supplier APIs (ASI, PromoStandards, ESP).
• Familiarity with Cloudflare Workers / edge-function patterns at production scale.
• Experience building or scaling a zero-inventory / drop-ship commerce model.
