Job summary

CaratLane Trading Private Limited in Chennai seeks an experienced AI/ML Tech Lead to architect and deliver scalable AI solutions, mentor a team of at least four engineers, and own model serving infrastructure.

You will collaborate with DevOps, Data Engineering, and Product teams, explore new frameworks, and accelerate development velocity while ensuring performance and reliability of production systems.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of AI/ML experience with at least 2 years in a technical leadership role guiding a team.
• Hands-on deployment of production ML models using Docker, FastAPI/Flask, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Deep understanding of version control (Git), containerization, and MLOps practices.
• Proficiency in Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, OpenCV, and HuggingFace/Transformers.
• Exposure to agentic AI workflows, prompt engineering, and GPU-based training/inference.
• Experience working with cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure) and managing compute/GPU resources
