Job summary

nxtwave disruptive technologies private limited is seeking a hands-on Technical Lead AI Engineering to lead AI engineers and deliver production-grade AI solutions. The role entails architectural design, code reviews, and mentoring, with end-to-end ownership of AI application delivery across GenAI, LLMs, RAG, Agentic AI, MCP, and related frameworks.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project delivery and robust deployment in cloud environments.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Software Engineering, AI/ML Engineering, GenAI, or AI Platform Development.
• Proven experience building and deploying production-grade AI applications.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python, REST APIs, microservices, SQL, and distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of LLMs, RAG, Agentic AI, MCP, and AI orchestration.
• Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, or equivalent AI development frameworks.
• Experience designing and developing scalable backend services and AI-powered applications.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based deployment.
• Understanding of MLflow, model lifecycle management, and observability tools.
• Experience leading engineering teams, conducting code reviews, and mentoring developers.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, technical decision-making, and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Technical Lead AI Engineering to lead AI engineers and develop, deploy, and maintain production-grade AI solutions. The role requires strong technical expertise, coding proficiency, architecture design, code reviews, team mentoring, and end-to-end ownership of AI application delivery.

The ideal candidate should have practical experience with Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Agentic AI, and AI orchestration frameworks, along with strong software engineering and deployment skills.
