You will lead fraud-focused initiatives, collaborate with architecture and engineering teams, and mentor engineers while delivering high-impact solutions in a fast-paced, global environment.

Responsibilities

• Discuss and elaborate Fraud initiatives with Architecture.
• Align initiatives with fraud technical roadmap.
• Recommend architecture best practices and patterns.
• Improve efficiency by migrations following architecture recommendations.
• Lead software delivery across the SDLC.
• Analyze risks, time, and resources to mitigate challenges.
• Review requirements with BAs, POs and Architects to deliver solutions.
• Coordinate dependencies across multiple teams.
• Support Fraud apps in Production and manage incidents.
• Coordinate technical testing including performance tests.
• Identify and unblock distractions to keep the team focused.

Role responsibilities

• Working with Architecture in discussing and elaborating Fraud initiatives and solutions.
• Working with the Technical Leads/Analysts in solution design ensuring initiative alignment to the fraud strategic technical roadmap.
• Contributing to the Technical Lead/Analyst Guild including making recommendations on architecture best practices, standards and patterns where necessary.
• Maintaining the existing Fraud technology view recommending improvements and migrations to improve efficiency and alignment to architecture recommendations.
• Leading the implementation of software by being involved throughout the SDLC
• Analysing possible project challenges and constraints (Risks, Time, Resources and Scope), identifying options and mitigating actions.
• Reviewing functional & non-functional requirements with the Business Analysts, Product Owners, Functional & Technical Architectures to define, document & deliver the best solution.
• Supporting the core team’s working practices, managing dependencies and commitment from multiple contributing teams
• Supporting Fraud applications in Production, prioritization of incidents and escalations
• Supporting the coordination and execution of technical testing, destructive or high availability test and performance test.
• You’re a problem solver — you can identify and unblock distractions to ensure the team stay focused on the things that deliver value

Must have qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications:

• Open to work with UK Business Time - 9:00 AM UK Time to 17:00 UK Time (2:30 PM IST to 10:30 PM IST)
• Strong communication skills
• Solid technical background with an ability to unpick complex problems
• Strong experience with API development, Microservice architecture and pipelines
• Knowledge of Open API, OAuth2, Docker, Jenkins, Gitlab, Github & Kubernetes
• Experience with Agile methodologies, Jira and Confluence toolsExperience with continuous delivery practices
• Scoping project requirements, considerations, and dependencies
• Experience in building new proposals E2E based on high level requirements
• Ability to Lead multiple workstreams in parallel
• Excellent understanding of Java 8+
• Excellent knowledge of OOP and design patterns, including benefits and limitations
• Excellent understanding of data structures and algorithms, Big O notation and performance analysis
• Excellent knowledge of Spring and Spring Boot
• Excellent knowledge of architectural patterns.
• Experience in designing architecture, including choosing the right tech stack
• Excellent knowledge of git or similar version control
• Solid experience in building RESTful APIs
• Solid experience with both relational and non-relational databases, database architecture and distributed transaction management
• Experience with distributed architecture principles and solutions for performance, scale and reliability
• Experience building and packaging components and services, cloud/on-premises deployments, CI/CD, monitoring and observability
• Experience working with containers (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
• Experience with Maven/Gradle/Ant
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum
• Good communication and analytical skills

Nice to have qualifications

• Experience in delivering Fraud related initiatives
• Experience working within AWS, AWS certification
• Experience in working with Agile methodologies, Scrum and Kanban leveraging JIRA and Confluence tools
• Solution architecture capabilities
• Fraud functional knowledge
